Fudinow Apps: the same screen on desktop, iPad and Android

A native app doesn't have to be a cut-down version. The rule: every screen matches the web.

A restaurant uses many devices at once: the register computer, an iPad on the floor, an Android at the bar and a screen in the kitchen. If each one looks and works differently, the team makes mistakes.

For Fudinow we built a desktop app for Windows and Mac that works offline with its own local database, and native iPad and Android apps built the way each platform expects — not a website wrapped in an app.

The non-negotiable rule is that everything matches the web: same design, same features, same layout. Before a screen is signed off, its screenshot goes next to the web version and every difference is fixed.

Work started with what runs the day — sales, tables and kitchen — and administration comes later. Whoever learns Fudinow on one device already knows how to use it on all of them.
